Judge Jim Gray to be taking part in a meet-and-greet and fund-raiser at the Santa Barbara home of Dr. David Bearman: one of the most recognized physicians in the U.S. in the field of medicinal marijuana and a longtime advocate of legalization.
The Judge will be on hand to meet with contributors and will speak regarding moving forward on legalizing marijuana, both in California, and nationwide.
Judge Gray will also address the myriad of other issues facing the nation as we move toward November.
We anticipate a great deal of support from the community in light of the Obama administration’s tactics in closing down dispensaries and harassing property owners especially in Central and Southern California, which has been particularly hit hard.
There will be a silent auction held as part of the event with a portion of the proceeds going to efforts to reform marijuana laws. Several exclusive items have already been donated, but we are looking for more.
The evening will include fine wine, good food, some light entertainment and a classic Santa Barbara sunset.
For those wishing to attend a pre-event meet and greet from 5 to 7 p.m., the donation will be $250.
Donations for the main event from 7 to 10 p.m. will be $100.
To RSVP, email Dr. Bearman at DavidBearman@cox.net or call 1-805-705-4012.
If you have questions or would like to help volunteer or donate an item for the auction, please email Rich Hudson at SBfundraiser@rich-hudson.com.
The event will be co-sponsored by the Committee to Regulate Marijuana Like Wine 2014 and Medical Marijuana 411 is a media sponsor.
