62% of likely California voters believe marijuana should be regulated LIKE WINE and 80% believe the federal position has taken the wrong approach.

Freedom Watch’s Judge Napolitano had DPA’s Ethan Nadelmann on his show tonight and Regulate Marijuana Like Wine (LIKE WINE) was highlighted, along with the poll numbers that show it has a very good chance to passing this November.

As Nadelmann tells Napolitano, “these initiatives were written so that they wouldn’t change existing medical marijuana laws.”

The new poll by LIKE WINE reveals the efforts the federal government has been willing to take, hence their overreach in these last few months, and highlights the near 80% of likely California voters think there needs to be a new approach (in other words, dissatisfied with the recent crackdown), and 64% want to see marijuana regulated like beer and wine.

“We could see a lot of people go out and vote Libertarian come November,” adds Nadelmann, who has seen a shift in youth support towards a more libertarian perspective after initially getting involved with the Obama election.

This is good news for LIKE WINE proponents who have expressed great satisfaction in their recent poll, as Congressional Candidate and LIKE WINE Treasurer Steve Collett adds, “Because the primary proponents are judges, police, doctors, medical marijuana patients, and taxpayers tired of government waste, we have seen wide-spead support among all demographic groups.”

Coupled with the poll numbers for marijuana regulations growing everyday and the federal government’s attempts to enforcement federal marijuana laws in California, Regulate Marijuana Like Wine is sure to pass come November in California, with Colorado and Washington looking just as good.

With at least two good initiatives vying for the ballot the challenge will be to get every pro cannabis voter on the same page. This is the time to really push to make this happen. The timing is right so join the team and we will all be celebrating in November.
