Fridays in Washington state are big ones in the recreational weed world—consistently posting daily sales numbers in the $2 to $4 million range throughout the summer of 2015. The last Friday in August included a record-breaking number, a staggering $4.2 million including excise taxes applied to shelf prices.

While Fridays undoubtedly the big days in the evergreen state’s burgeoning new industry, the days on either side of it post big numbers as well. Here, Thursdays are slightly outpacing Saturdays, but not 100% of the time.

Sundays are consistently the lowest in sales, hovering in the $1 million range on their lowest days. However, Sunday August 30th creeped toward the $2 million mark, with numbers coming in at roughly $1.8 million.

The Seattle Hempfest crowd appears to have boosted sales in August, too. While held officially from the 14th to the 16th (Friday to Sunday), tacking on Thursday and Monday where tourist traffic is increased, the five-day span boasted almost $11 million in total shelf prices.
