“North Carolina Cannabis Act” House Bill 577 of 2011’s Public Forum

Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, May 31, 2011 – If you, or someone you care about has  cancer, some other debilitating medical condition that modern medication is not helping or causing more side effects then it is worth and you have considered using medical cannabis, but it is currently illegal in North Carolina, please make plans to attend the North Carolina’s Cannabis Act House Bill 577 of 2011’s Public Form.   The event will be held on Tuesday June 7th, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 Pm with  lunch break at 1:00PM in the Halifax Mall sponsored by NCCPN. There will be many patients from across the country and locally that will be attending to educate legislators on how Cannabis therapy has helped them and why safe access to cannabis should not be criminally illegal for the sick and suffering citizens of North Carolina that desperately need this form of medication. This event is organized by Rep. Kelly Alexander, The Carolina Cannabis Coalition, and the NCCPN so that legislators in North Carolina can become informed about the pending House Bill 577, and what it will mean to thousands upon thousands of North Carolinians that so desperately need medical cannabis to be able to live a better quality of life, and some, with Cancer and serious diseases need it just to live.

Mike Hyde of the Cash Hyde Foundation, “Cancer Fears Me”, www.cashhydefoundation.com was to be coming in from Montana to testify about how Cannabis helped to save the life of his 2 year old son Cash, diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer, and Dr.s only successfully removing 10% of it, Mike believes Cannabis extract, that he helped Cash to ingest through his feeding tube in the Cancer Center, helped to cure him of cancer and save his life. Cash is the youngest card holder to become a registered cannabis patient in the United States. Mike has been denied by Legislature the chance to speak to let the people of North Carolina know about his son…  The Hyde family now travels around educating, everyone that they can, about the healing that occurred with the aid of the cannabis extract. Mike Hyde will soon be speaking the the “Make A Wish” Foundation in Fla.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmviQBB5DHs

Also, a container belonging to Irvin Rosenfeld, who is one of the remaining four Federally Legal patients in the US, and who receives approximately 300 Marijuana cigarettes every 25 days from the Federal Government, for a medical condition, will be on display. Craig Beresh of the American Cannabis Coalition will be attending from San Diego, California to speak on the environment surrounding Cannabis that so many Legislators in NC seem to be concerned about. There will be many more individuals that medically cannabis has touched their life in such a positive way, which will be testifying. Please come and join the crowd and support North Carolina’s Cannabis Act House Bill 577 of 2011.

Please pick up the phone and call your legislators and ask them to attend this event, and please mention that any legislator that attends will receive a free lunch courtesy of NCCPN . See our facebook event page to RSVP:  https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=168795513181051
