  • What’s the secret to getting a budtender position? Getting the training you need.

When you enter to the Dispensary or CBD store, budtenders help you with the purchase and tell you about the products. Do you know the reason why they are so good at their job? They take budtender certification courses that enhance their knowledge about the cannabis field.

Patients can spend 90% or more of their time in-store interacting with just one person: the budtender, which is why this position is probably the most important one inside a dispensary. The best budtenders are passionate about cannabis, exceptionally knowledgeable about the products, and thrive on providing great customer service.

I took this class for my company to prepare myself for our upcoming vote for medical in November. This course was amazing in all aspects of the word. The only feedback I have is when it gets to the section about how cannabis responds with the brain function, the medical jargon gets to be a little confusing. The subtitles for the videos were crazy too. I found it entertaining and slightly distracting. Other than that, this course was absolutely incredible.

I believe the section called Neurodegenerative Disorders, Pain & Post Traumatic Stress Disorder had an error in stating THC is 20 times the anti inflammatory as aspirin, I remember seeing that statistic for CBD and it’s unlikely THC would be identical, but maybe I’m wrong.

Minor copywriting edits should be made. Data on Migraine should be confirmed/reviewed. One question remains for me: Should lab results be available for all products dispensed? Other than these points, I found the information and knowledge fascinating. I look forward to transcribing my notes in tandem with rereading all the course materials. I also look forward to continuing educations.
