Dr. Gregory Smith has been in primary care practice for over 30 years. He is board certified in Preventive Medicine and obtained his MPH from Harvard University. He first trained on the use of medical cannabis in 2000 in California. He has written extensively on the subject, including his popular textbook, “Medical Cannabis: Basic Science and Clinical Applications” published in 2016, and more recently “Cannabidiol, CBD: What you need to know.” And most recently in 2019, “THCV: Appetite Killer.”
Dr. Kevin Smith has also been in primary care practice for over 30 years. He is board certified in Preventive Medicine and obtained his MPH from Yale University. He trained on the use of medical Cannabis several years ago and has been very active in educating physicians and other medical professionals.

Alaska Marijuana Handler Permit Certification Course
I did the 10 hour course online. It was very good. The book came a couple days after doing the online test. The medical cannabis handbook is amazing. I think all providers need to read it. Thank you
Apparently, the learning sessions were set up so that after I’d completed the session, I couldn’t go back into it to clarify or review the material I’d read. It would have been very helpful to have been able to do so. Of course, that capacity could be turned off once I’ve started the Quiz. Also, handouts summarizing or outlining key points would have been much more useful than the Medication RX inserts….. Overall, a great course. and i thank you.
Please provide the most current states that have legalized medical THC as well as those who are on the brink of being legal.
