Many years ago, Interpol listed the country as the fourth-largest exporter of illegal Cannabis in the world—something of a dubious honour, but it speaks to their deep connection with the plant. Their very own Durban Poison, a landrace strain, is a regular feature in Amsterdam’s coffee shops and is one of the two strains that make up the globally famous Girl Scout Cookies.

Trenton is the CEO and Co-Founder of Cheeba Africa who have been in operation for 5 years. He is considered to be one of the pioneers of the South African Cannabis industry.
Linda Siboto
Linda is a Director and Co-Founder of Cheeba Africa. He has over 25 years experience in the media industries is one of the most heavily networked people in the South African Cannabis industry.
Natie Ferreira
Natie is one of South Africa’s leading Cannabis and hemp cultivators who has been growing for over 25 years. He owns the Cannabis nursery Dagga Farmacy, which specialises in genetics.
Ras Garreth Prince
Garreth is a Rastafarian lawyer who has been fighting for decades to have Cannabis decriminalised. In 2018 he won a decision to decriminalise the personal and private use of cannabis in the Constitutional Court. This is known commonly as the Prince Judgment.

Guests stay at the Hemp Hotel, a boutique hotel known as the tallest hemp building in the world, located in the heart of Cape Town.
How structured is the itinerary?

Are meals included?
Select meals (8 in total) are included, as well as breakfast at the hotel. Additional meals can be enjoyed during excursions.
What activities are planned for relaxation?
The itinerary includes optional yoga and meditation sessions, hikes, beach visits, and plenty of opportunities to unwind in beautiful surroundings.
What is included in the cost?
The cost covers accommodation, transport for excursions, select meals, and venue fees.

Flights and travel insurance are not included and participants must arrange these on their own.
What should I pack for the trip?
Bring comfortable clothing for outdoor activities, swimwear, walking shoes, and appropriate attire for evening events.
How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
Airport transfers to and from the Hemp Hotel are included as part of the package.

Importing Cannabis into South Africa is not allowed. However, Cannabis will be available during the adventure in line with local regulations.
