Acidic cannabinoids
Definition: The natural, acidic state of photocannabinoids, cannabinoids produced by the cannabis plant, including THCA and CBDA, the precursors to THC and CBD converted with the addition of heat though decarboxylation. Features an additional carboxyl group that exerts different effects in the body so that cannabinoids may have different therapeutic properties in both their acidic and non-acidic forms.
