Cannabichromenes (CBC)
Definition: A non-intoxicating minor cannabinoid produced early in the cannabis flowering cycle that increases anandamide levels by binding to TRPV1 and TRPA1 receptors linked to pain perception. CBC is believed to be one of the most potent cannabinoids for anti-tumor capabilities. Other uses include anti-inflammation for collagen-induced arthritis, a neuroprotectant for Alzheimer’s disease, providing treatment for acne and depression used in combination with CBD and THC, bone stimulant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and also lowers blood pressure and relaxes the veins. Similar cannabinoids to CBC include Cannabichromenic acid (CBCA), Cannabichromevarin (CBCV) and Cannabichromevarinic acid (CBCVA).
