Cultivation
Definition: Cannabis cultivation is a rapidly evolving industry with increased use of technology to improve yields and quality. Although cultivation methods are similar to other agricultural cultivation grow operations, such as outdoor, greenhouse, or indoor, there are important distinctions depending on intended use. For example, when cultivating cannabis as industrial hemp where the fibers are to be utilized, the seeds are planted closer together than cannabis grown for medical use or adult use, to promote longer stalks.
