Delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinols

Definition: Delta-8 THC is an isomer, or minor chemical variant, of Delta-9 THC with some repoted intoxicating qualities similar to Delta 9 THC. Occuring at small levels in natural cannabis, the amounts necessary to produce Delta-8 THC into a product are manufactued artificially by chemically converting CBD or Delta-9 THC through isomerization. The chemical conversion process can produce high levels of other impurities, especially in products derived from CBD.
