Edibles
Definition: Food infused with cannabinoids. While consuming raw cannabis has certain health benefits, raw cannabis is neither intoxicating nor psychoactive. Edibles refer to cannabinoids that has been heated, such as cooked in oil or butter, specifically to convert THCA into THC through decarboxylation. Edible cannabinoids enter the bloodstream through the stomach and liver, delaying the onset compared to inhalation, and lengthening the effect to four to six hours in many cases.
