Entourage effect

Definition: In cannabis, the synergistic pharmacological impact of cannabis compounds used together to produce more desirable effects than when used separately, depending on chemovar, cannabinoid content and terpene profile. One of the arguments against isolates. Thought to magnify the positive effects between terpenes and cannabinoids, while diminishing the negative side-effects of specific compounds, such as THC. First posited by Dr Raphael Mechoulam in 1999.
