Epidiolex

Definition: An oral CBD formulation made from highly purified, plant-derived CBD developed by GW Pharmaceuticals. Noteworthy as the world’s first prescription pharmaceutical formulation made of cannabis, and viewed as first in a new category of anti-epileptic drugs. FDA approved in June 2018 and moved to non-controlled substance by the DEA in April 2020, removing all federal restrictions and leaving jurisdiction to legal states.
