Genotype
Definition: In cannabis, a summary of genetic information that reflect a spectrum of possibilities the plant will exhibit, including color, height, resistance to disease and ability to produce resins. The key to understanding the genetic potential of the cultivar, and how environmental conditions may influence growth and physical appearance. Other than clones, which contain exact copies of the original genome, no two plants have the exact same genotype, including plants of the same cultivar that share similar genotypes inherited from their mutual mother plant. One of the influences on phenotype.
