Linalool
Definition: A terpene found in cannabis with a strong floral scent similar to lilies and lavender responsible for the recognizable aroma of many cannabis cultivars. One of the three most common terpenes with sedative activity, along with myrcene and nerolidol. Anti-anxiety and stress reducing. A powerful anticonvulsant that also amplifies serotonin-receptor transmission, thus serving as an antidepressant. Found to be a calming sedative with relaxing properties and good for sleep. Antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anticancer and anti-oxidant effects.
