Nabiximols

Definition: A herbal preparation, developed by GW Pharmaceuticals and approved in 2010 as a botanical drug in the UK, containing a standardized extract of THC, CBD, minor cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes from two cannabis plant varieties formulated for oromucosal spray administration. In October 2020, Phase 3 trial began in the US to assess the safety and efficacy in treating spasticity associated with multiple sclerosis.
