Oxidative stress

Definition: A condition caused by an imbalance between antioxidants and free radicals that results in attacks on lipids, proteins and DNA. Thought to be the underlying cause of many diseases. Research has demonstrated that cannabis extracts and phytocannabinoids have a promising potential as antioxidants for oxidative stress therapy.
