Prostaglandins

Definition: Lipids made at sites of tissue damage or infection involved in dealing with injury and illness and control processes such as inflammation, blood flow and the formation of blood clots. Research suggests THC and other cannabinoid like agents inhibit pro-inflammatory enzymes that promote production of prostaglandin.
