THCA

Definition: Tetrahydrocannbinolic acid. The most common cannabinoid found in the trichomes of living cannabis plants. Nonintoxicating, inactive precursor producing the intoxicant compound THC by thermal decarboxylation, a process where THCA loses the acidic carbonyl group.
