Florida Senator Jeff Brandes is proposing a bill in Florida which would do away with the Charlotte’s Web Law and permit stronger strains of Marijuana well as making medical marijuana accessible to more people.

My bill simply creates a series of conditions and symptoms that would qualify patients for medical marijuana it also does away with the Charlotte’s Web regulatory structure.

One of the sponsors of the original medical marijuana laws in Florida says its time to get serious about prescription pot. The Charlotte’s Web law that passed in 2014 only allows non euphoric strains of Marijuana for kids suffering from seizures, senator Jeff Brandes wants to change the law so more people will qualify and high powered pot would be permitted. My bill simply creates a series of conditions and symptoms that would qualify patients for medical marijuana it also does away with the Charlotte’s Web regulatory structure and implements a regulatory structure that I think will better serve in the state of Florida.
