Poem From Cathy

Apryl Burnett used her hand to write this for long time inspirational friend, Cathy Jordan, who suffers from Lou Gehrig’s Disease – ALS. Cathy has fought the vile disease for more than 20 years with the help of medical marijuana. Apryl will be contributing to Medical Marijuana 411.com and she will help Cathy tell her story.

Please Raise my hand, and stand me up..

I no longer can, Now, my disease has struck…

But, Still I try to speak the truth and advocate

freedom for me and you

I cannot walk, but I keep on rolling

I have trouble speaking

but I use my voice

This is my choice

To live not to die

I choose to survive

Not to suffer

To Thrive

I am not a victim

I am a survivor a fighter

so each day I am given

i will continue living

I will not stop until I make a difference
