Ohio Patients Rally In Support of HB 478
OHIO — On October 16, 2010 in front of the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus, Ohio more than 250 people gathered to raise awareness and show support for HB 478 (summary). The house bill, if passed, would make Ohio the 15th state in the nation to allow medical marijuana for desperately ill patients. Over the course of the four hour event hundreds of honks could be heard in support from passing cars. The event drew activists from around Ohio and beyond. Numerous groups were represented, with Central Ohio Norml hosting the event.

Groups to gather at Ohio Statehouse in Support of H.B. 478 Ohio Medical Compassion Act Rally
OHIO — This Saturday, October 16, from 11:00am at 3pm groups will gather at the Ohio Statehouse on High Street in support of H.B. 478, Ohio’s Medical Compassion Act that will allow for the medicinal use of cannabis. Tonya Davis, Medical Marijuana Director of Ohio NORML, and one of the organizers of the event is inviting cannabis community leaders from all over the state to be heard, “with 73% of Ohioans supporting the compassionate use of marijuana, it is time we force our legislators to do what the majority of Ohioans want or they wont get our vote.”
