Dr. Mish Castillo has prior clinical experience in canine and feline behavioral medicine, welfare, and bioethics. Since 2017, he has focused on researching cannabis and educating about its applications in veterinary medicine, focusing on harm reduction education and its ethical uses. In 2019, he co-founded ICAN Vets, the Veterinary Branch of the Cannabis Institute (ICAN), and has been invited as a speaker in conferences such as Cannamexico 2022, Vetcann 2020 through 2024, La Nación del Gato (Cat Nation) 2024, and the largest veterinary conference in Latin América, Congreso Veterinario de León (CVDL) 2021 through 2025.
