A review of nearly 80 clinical trials found there is evidence cannabinoids, one of the active constituents of cannabis, can help patients deal with nausea and vomiting.

Cannabinoids can also help in the reduction of pain.

The study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, concluded that  there was moderate-quality evidence to support the use of cannabinoids for the treatment of chronic pain and spasticity.
