University of California, Irvine offered a medical marijuana lecture and how autism and symptoms associated with autism can be treated with medical cannabis, especially for children.

Autism and medical marijuana have come to be synonymous with each other ever since Mieko Perez and her son Joey were featured on Good Morning America.

Joey was severely autistic and near death when Mieko turned to medical marijuana, and with Dr. Hedrick’s approval.

Dr. Rebecca Hedrick is also known as “Joey’s Doctor” because Joey was her first medical marijuana patient. After his results proved successful, Dr. Hedrick and Joey’s mother, Mieko Perez, have been in the media for medical marijuana and autism.
